Melissa Loncaric Miller is the person responsible for Jordan Zeh’s mouth! Feel sorry for her yet? haha Jordan refers to Melissa as his “creative soulmate” and the two have made a big impact on the Gulf Coast of Florida, Alabama, and South Georgia on the airwaves and in the community by getting involved with nearly every charitable organization.
Melissa has called Panama City home for most of her life. Born in South Florida, she lived in Atlanta and Columbus, Georgia for several years before returning to the Sunshine State to be closer to family.
More than just a hometown girl, Melissa is also a familiar voice on local radio. She is the Music Director and midday host on Kick’N Country 103.5. Early birds can also hear her on the Morning Zoo with Jordan Zeh on HOT 107.9 daily from 6am until 10am. Melissa’s radio career began in Panama City when she was just a teenager. She honed her craft while in Georgia. Now an award-winning host of two broadcasts, her career has come full circle back where it all started.
Concurrent with radio, Melissa has been an entertainment writer and photographer since her teenage years. She’s interviewed and photographed dozens of country music stars and written for numerous magazines, newspapers, web sites and e-zines, CMT.com perhaps the best-known. It’s a true labor of love as country is Melissa’s favorite music though she readily admits to being pretty big blues fan.
Melissa can also be seen on television and live as the face of Spinnaker Beach Club, famed Panama City beachfront hot spot. As their official spokesperson, you’ll find her hosting live events or filming their commercials.
Work isn’t Melissa’s only love. Husband Noah and three rescue pups round out her home life. Melissa is hopelessly in love with her two beautiful nieces, Alahna and Raegan.
During the rare times when she’s not working, Melissa enjoys—surprise—live music! She’s a tireless advocate for various animal rescue groups, serves on the board for Anchorage Children’s Home and recently enlisted to volunteer as a “Big Sister” with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America. She also wants everyone to know that even though she is six feet tall, she has never, ever played basketball.
Melissa has many fears but has been facing her fears on the show (with Jordan pushing that ) and recently went live on Facebook to face her fear of possums.
